I thought this was a success and wanted to share it as the local tire techs gave their approval. Apex offers a stand alone TPMS bracket adapter for $5 and I was able to modify it to fit in this case Rays valves but could probably work with other clamping type valves that don't have a TPMS mount... The Apex valve kits do seem very well made, I just wanted to see if I could make these valves compatible with OEM Ford sensors

So that is a Volks/Rays ZE40X wheel with the included valve stems adapted to fit the factory TPMS sensor using a modified Apex Designs adapter bracket. And it's been tested now for a day holding up beautiful!
