Auto Start Stop Removal (Bringing back this thread)

Can we get Ford Motor Company or someone who is in the know to address this question once and for all. On the Ford Vehicle Order Tracking/Status page, my Ranger XLT 2.7L shows the following under "Accessories."

"Auto Start-Stop Removal"

Does this indeed mean that my new Ranger will not have that feature? I am hoping it will not be added and I can be free of the Auto Start-Stop. I know some others have said theirs listed it but there was no consensus if it was or was not removed.

Any authoritative sources/opinions are welcome. Thanks.

Pretty positive that is just the button to turn off/on auto start/stop. When you click on it, it states included on all Ranger models.

Mine said the same thing on the order sheet, but when the truck arrived, the stop/start feature was included. Not sure why they do this.

Many of us have purchased devises to permanently shut it off.
They cost around 100 bucks and take about 15 min to install.

I have one on mine.

Had to put a similar device on my 23 Bronco as well.
I really hate that start stop feature.

I really hate that start stop feature.

So I got into habit of pushing off button on getting in my '19, Now on my new RRaptor you turn it off in My Mode and admittedly you still have to push a button but when you double click the 'R" button but all your saved setting return. Neither situation were annoying enough for me to use one of the "solutions" many of which seem easily effective. I just have a start up routine that is the same every time....mostly because it includes checking my mirrors so I don't rub the wider Raptor on the side of my garage door

On my Bronco, I keep it in sport mode and that turns off the auto-start/stop. But I have to remember to click "ok" at start-up, which can be a challenge when its 114 here in Phoenix and I'm focused on getting the A/C turned on. I was hoping that Ford was eliminating the auto-start/stop, but it looks like I will have to keep the Ranger in sport mode--which does make things a little more interesting, especially with the 2.7L!

I'm sure they will have one specific to the 2024+Ranger. Not sure if the Bronco one will work seeing that they share the same engines?
