Bed Rack in NA Market? Where are they??

That type of rack is what I’m looking for. Something that can start lower for rooftop tent for stability and then be able to raise for kayak or loads above roofline.

Holy grail is one that can also support rollup tonneau cover.

T-slot racks are nice but normally lose dynamic load rating, especially for off road.

We are in the same boat. Been looking everywhere. I do see some options with the yakima rack but its not the look Im after. The other option I see is taking a chance on some of the stuff on aliexpress or alibaba. The AU suppliers do not ship to the states (talking about tub racks/bed racks/ute racks).

I’m looking at the Kuat Ibex (IbexA3) is the ranger’s product number. Or the Leitner Designs ones.
They both support tonneau covers.

ok ok, both are very similar design. Looks different from the look I'm trying to go for (first picture I posted).

I do like that they have molle panels on the side for the Kuat Ibex.

I liked the Kuat because it had both a mid height and full height option on the same SKU. More options soon I hope!

I am going to just my Xtrusion Overland from my Tacoma and swap it over to the Ranger. I think all I need to do is just the top bar and make it wider. You guys could make this rack with aluminum extrusion and there is a CNC company called SendcutSend that will make all kinds of brackets and you just send them what you want to make.

Price for rack and cover together really isn't that bad but shipping is of course about the same price as the parts themselves. I love the AU stuff but my biggest reservation is resolving any problems that might occur in a timely manner. Not a huge deal for the rack but the sliding cover seems like a bit of a gamble. I need to check out some of the video reviews and install videos.

So I have a lead on a second hand Xtrusion Overland Rack that I'm going to gamble and buy. I did some measurements and it should fit on our bed rails.

Just found a very affordable option from recon recovery. Didn’t know if anyone had pulled the trigger on one yet? I could’ve sworn I saw a Ranger Raptor in Tx with one.
