The last time I installed wheel spacers was on a new 2003 Cobra. Ford tucked the wheels in too much for my taste.

I had zero issues. The Ranger Raptor looked like the wheels were tucked in too much as well.

I installed Titan wheel spacers, and I think it looks better now.

I also placed a flat edge against the front and rear tires and made a mark on the concrete to measure the track width.

The front now measures 81", and the rear measures 81 3/8".

I guess it is now into indicator light territory width if I wanted to validate putting the three lights in the grill.

They look cool, but no current plans.

Looks good!

raises a question for me (I have no spacer experience,) is there any difference between spacers vs an equivalent wheel backspace/offset?
1” =about 25mm, would they be the same as a wheel with a 25mm offset (or 25mm different than the current wheel, atleast)

I love the look but still fear adding another failure point or causing possible suspension issues. My XLT FX4 would look way better with a set.

It’s inexpensive vs buying new wheels.

For me it wasn't an expense thing. I like the non-beadlock Raptor wheels more than any aftermarket wheels that I've seen yet so I added 1" Bora spacers. To get a slight bit more poke I went with 33x12.5x17 tires.

Not saying it’s always the reason. I used em on my wrangler for a couple of years. For me it was a cost thing. I saved for a while to buy new wheels so i could take the adapters off eventually. I never liked the stock wheels that came on it.
