I have that same one on my XLT FX4. Works well enough. You can't keep things really dry without sealing the stake pocket covers, but I'm not concerned about keeping things dry or dust free, I just wanted it for looks (and price).

I feel the exact same way, I was really just worried about keeping the bulk of the water off of the gear, keeping dust off gear. glad to hear it’s working good for you, I made the right choice.
