I had a MX4 on my SD for about 6 months. I never could get it to not leak and it got oven hot inside. I got rid of it and put a topper on it. On the Ranger I got a Leer clamshell. No leaks.
Did you have the new Gen 3 MX4? CanopyWorld was really pushing the Gen3 as being much better.

I purchased the one from Ford motor company had the dealer install it, have been happy it comes with drain tubing which keeps most of the rain out it will get small amount near the tail gate. Very minimal..

So Ford did have the Leer, now it seems they are made by Real truck, looks like that's what yours is with the cable pull. The leer pinch design seemed more tamper proof. Leer has a 3 yr vs Bak's longer warranty.

This was back in 2018 so probably not the gen 3. The leaks I expected but the heat was concerning. I really could not put anything in the bed that might be heat sensitive.

Do not get the BAK Revolver X4s Tonneau Cover. I have not been happy with it and it does not keep things dry. The latch quality is terrible. For the price paid I expected a lot more.
Seen a few comments like that now, thought maybe the new model had fixed that?

I just installed a "Tutel Hard shell folding cover for $400. I'm shocked at the quality and ease of installation. 20 minutes tops. Doesn't leak at all.
Will look at that...

When I search the Bison website, they do not list any hard Tri-fold covers for a 2025 Ranger…?
Interesting, I just checked & looks like you're right, I just see 2019-2023 models. Maybe it's an availability thing, you might just call them. I got mine a couple of months ago, for my 2024 Ranger.

PS the one for the 2024 Ranger vs. earlier models is the same cover just with some special mounting hardware and a page of special instructions. I would bet they could get you one if you call them, as the "changes" were minimal.

If you do & want some mounting input, you can let me know, as their mounting instructions were pretty bad in my view.

Is your bed covers a REALTRUCK cover?
Ford sells and installs them here

I am sad to see this post. I was considering one as it is an hard cover and it does not completely block the rear window when rolled up - like all of the other hard folding covers do.
I am very happy with mine, it is not waterproof, I love that you can roll it up and most of the bed is sill open

I like the RealTruck Undercover Elite one piece composite cover. My local dealer said that this cover would not fit the 2024 Ford Ranger. I called the company and they told me that they will have one that fits the 2024 by December. I have a dealer installed Leer roll back and I am not happy with it because of leaks and difficulty opening. Just another idea.

I’ve got this one in my cart on Amazon for Black Friday pricing. Any thoughts on it, after having it a while? How does it hold up? Can it carry a little bit of weight? Stay pretty secure? Not too easy to pop a clothes hanger in and pop open?

Sorry for all the questions, just looking for experience.

So far pretty good. Doesn't leak. Super simple to bold on. No extra parts to mount. I'm very pleased so far. I don't load anything on top of it just because. I looks like it could hold some moderate weight.
