Thanks for the pictures sir! That looks great! Very much looking forward to getting rid of the out of place chrome on my truck.

Indeed! I couldn't stand it. Looks so much better. I swear it changed the tone a little too, but that could all be in my head.

Another tidbit of advice, if you cut them, put the cut end toward the muffler. Because it's doubtful you will get a perfect cut. You want the uncut end the one you see.
Oh, and after they were on for a couple of drives, I took some black spray paint and painted the very ends to cover the white threads in the sleeves and blacken the original tips that were slightly visible inside.

I dunno, I think they just toned it down bit. For the good. My only expanation is that maybe they reduced the final resonance at the tips a little. Or I'm nuts!
