Since about 1000 miles, every week or so I have intermittently received an error on my dash regarding both my Blind-Spot and Cross Traffic systems. It goes away on its own but will show up at unusual times while driving and will constantly alert me about every 30 seconds. I took to the Dealer which they held it for 4 days inspecting it and unfortunately they weren’t able to replicate the error. They were able to see that it had come up multiple times (and saw my videos of it happening) but since they weren’t able to run diagnostics while it was occurring, there was “nothing they could do” and “bring it in immediately next time it happens.” Unfortunately their techs only work 9-5pm (M-F) and I drive mostly going to and from work (both times they aren’t open for service) and I’m getting fed up with getting the run around. I tried another dealer but they wouldn’t provide a loaner vehicle since I didn’t purchase my vehicle from them and I called Ford customer service which wasn’t helpful. Not sure if any of you had similar issues or suggestions for getting it repaired.

Is it happening in cold and wet weather? My front sensors fault in these conditions.

Same thing happens to mine. Very annoying for a new vehicle. Haven’t taken it in yet.

Mine has been like that since I got it. The dealer says there is no error report so there’s nothing they can do. It of course never does it at dealer. It’s mostly the front right that does it.

From what the dealer indicated from the error report they saw, it was certainly coming from the left taillight. I had them fix my “paint chip” issue above the taillight in which they took off the light entirely and reinstalled it. That side was definitely looser before (when compared to the other) and now after it was reinstalled it feels rock solid like the right. I was hoping that was the problem but about 3 or 4 days later I had the same issue. I also thought it might have something to do with a car wash but since I haven’t washed it for a couple weeks, I can definitively say that’s not the case.

Did anyone get a resolution for this? I have had a 2024 Ranger Raptor purchased brand new with this identical issue and have brought it in to the dealership six times for it. They replaced the back driver side module and it was fine for a month then back to happening. I'd say in the 1.5 years of ownership this alert has prompted 500 times mostly on cold weather/raining. I am getting the typical explanation from the dealership where its difficult to replicate as it comes on and off at random. However I do not understand how it cannot be troubleshooted when you see the historical system logs of failure.

No. It is so annoying. I’m going to try to find another dealer that might actually care.

Hey in case you still have the issue, I wanted to provide a hopeful update.

I found another dealer a ways from me but clearly cared a lot more… still took them over a month to figure this out. Here was their description and thus far I have not had it replicate however it’s only been a week. Much better than popping the alert off twenty times a day…

“Good afternoon Brandon, thank you for your patiance. The tech found the cause for the fault messages for your concern was caused by loose pins in connector C299 in the left rear interior quarter panel that made both the blind spot and side object detection modules drop communication causing the intermittent faults”

Couple extra fun things I learned is that the service portal the dealers use can access your truck fault logs remotely if you choose to send them from the onboard computer which at the original dealer they stated they can’t. Also I was getting a minor vibration at 28mph-35mph and that turned out to be a faulty driveshaft. This started happening after 2000 miles on the truck however the original dealer said it was “normal”

moving forward I will be getting the extended warranty as I am at twenty thousand miles with these issues. Still love the truck but playing it safe.

I’m having this same exact problem all of a sudden. Can anyone help me figure out where the module is for this?

Curious if you found a fix for this?
