Borla Exhaust Video/Walkthrough

Looks like Borla finally released a video of their exhaust kit for the Ranger Raptor with a full walkthrough.

Not sure I hear a huge difference but I could be going deaf in my old age.

Compared to the explorer st and especially the bronco raptor (climber) this exhaust is an easy pass. Even if they made a bronco climber configuration that uses the spare wheel well space nothing happens.

3.0tt ranger just sounds one way and only one way.

I am a massive Borla fan, but I really can't tell the difference. Wonder if you replace the downpipes with a Borla exhaust might have a better sound and performance gain.

I can tell the difference. The Borla has a bit more of a "snarl" to it.

The problem is that the stock system is already pretty damn good, so it's a lot of money to drop on a 10% difference.

Agree. I am not sure what I am looking for but if I am going to drop 2k-3k on an exhaust I want to hear it. Like I mentioned above, I am wondering if we replace the down pipes as well if that would make a difference.

There is a change in exhaust note/tone if you add Aftermarket down-pipes.

The best example I can give is the Youtube video SPD has of a Ranger Raptor with their down-pipes installed with Factory exhaust.

Hear a difference, but I am scared of the price!

I can hear a difference. It sounds like it has a little more of a gurgle at the low RPMs which is nice, but it still sounds like an angry wasp at higher RPMs. I'd rather increase induction noise and I'm trying to figure that out still. Probably an upgraded intercooler and maybe a CAI?
