Thanks for doing more math than I did! That still seems alright relative to the exchange rate, but I agree. At $80K (& with the increase in width) I’d be into an F-150 at that point. As killer as the RR is, agreed, I wouldn’t use its capability enough over the Lariat (or at all..) to justify the cost. But if you want to be into a Raptor it’s by far the cheapest way to do it as the BR & F150R are priced similarly into the 6 figures.I priced out a similar Lariat and Raptor in both US & Canada. Canadian increase on the Lariat was almost 16%. The Raptor was almost 23%. Raptor with almost no options was $80k, all in. Ford does the same thing with the full size trucks. Raptor % increase is more than the other trucks.
I'm officially out of the RR market. It's a killer truck, but not spending $80k (if one even sells for MSRP). I just hope Ford comes out with some decent colors for the Lariat. What's showing currently for the 6G is unbelievably bland.
