My great mood was dashed by Ford. They shipped my truck with a major defect. Still waiting and from what I understand from the dealer I will be lucky if I get it this Friday. So depressing. I told my salesman that I dreaded that my truck was built on the Friday before the labor day holiday. My fears have been confirmed so far.

Ugh, sorry brother! What's the defect?

My truck was built right after The 4th of July and I always jokingly worried about the same thing... now at 2,000 miles my entire engine needs disassembled to replace the Cam Phasers. I've had other QC issues with the truck too. It's been a real bummer.

I really love the Ranger. Would turn around and stare at it everytime I got out of it! But the Cam Phasers have been the final straw where now I just kind of dread driving it, waiting for the next issue... it's a bummer
