I think I’ve exhausted my searching on here and now that more time has passed since the RR came out, I wanted to ask who here is running negative offset wheels, what mods did you do (ie - lift, crash bar, pinch welds, fenders, etc) to make it work (or not work) on factory tire sizing (285/70:17). My wheeling will consist 90% on road, but I do want to do raptor runs for sure.
I’m in love with the TE37xt , specifically in the -10 (17x8.5) variant, and want to get real feedback from people running it. I understand the ramifications of such an aggressive offset and I’m ok with it.
My search suggests:
+25 on 35s works without mods (full compression)
0 on 33s work with crash bar removal and some pinch welds (full compression)
-12 on 35s works with a lift, crash bar, but only street verified (no full compression experience)
Books are a pretty penny, so I wanted to get as much info as I can before pulling the trigger.
