Not all Methods wheels are the same... but for the poster saying Methods aren't hub centric the 703s are. They also are going to save me 10lbs a corner in weight.... and my tires are going to save me 12 lbs per corner. Excited to get it all installed this coming week.
The Method 703 wheels specifically for the 2024–2026 Ford Ranger Raptor (17x8.5, +35 offset, 6x139.7 bolt pattern), you should not need hub-centric rings.
Here's why:
Your 2026 Ranger Raptor has a 93.1 mm hub bore.
The Ranger-specific Method 703 uses a 93.25 mm center bore, which is intentionally just slightly larger than the Ford hub (only 0.15 mm of clearance). Owners have confirmed these wheels are essentially hub-centric for the Ranger Raptor.
Because of that very close fit, Method does not specify or include hub-centric rings for this application.
705's are 25.2lbs per wheel (my home scale measured close at 25.6lbs). I went with those over the RTR's (had RTR Tech 7's on my Mustang GT and loved them) because I wanted bead grip for sand running / trails and no more than +35mm off-set, so they fit the bill. Personally, I liked spoke pattern more than the 703's. No, I don't have any vibration issues even though they are not hub centric.
The ONLY purpose for hub centric wheels is so techs can be lazy during the install and not have to snug the lugs before they torque the wheel on. Hub centric has ZERO to do with load bearing as that's all by the lugs and taper on the lugs, so feel free to use non-lug centric if it makes your wheel choice broader, just torque them by hand yourself.
For me, the combination of bead grip, weight, off-set and factory width are why I went with the 705's. 703's were a strong second choice for me, but I wanted to save another 12lbs by going with the 705's.
