Does anyone know the seat angle of the lug nuts for the OEM (non-bead lock capable) wheels? Is it 60 degrees? I’m looking to swap for black lug nuts and am struggling to find the spec information. There’s a lot of warnings to also not use tuner-style lug nuts but if the thread and seat angle match is it actually a concern?

There are a few threads here on this issue, but as I recall the oem lug nuts are m12 x 1.5, bulge type. Bulge refers to the contact area being a bit more extended. I've been told that our oem wheels are essentially bronco wheels. If you're changing out all of the lug nuts, I'd suggest going with the ones with more contact area. The threads have links to specific products that should work for you.
