Hello 👋 everyone, looking for info on a 2024 ford ranger 2.3L XL 4wd supercrew ,I was wondering if you could shift from 2H to 4H on the fly, in other words can you select 4H while driving at moderate speeds of course in snow or muddy conditions and what is the max speed!! that you can shift

Read pp200-206 of your owners manual. The short answer is yes but there are important details in the manual you should be familiar with.
Lol I did read it but couldn't quite get it to soak in lol by the way thanks for the reply Stemplar !

I looked it up and can't find anything that actually says that you can be driving say 25 miles per hour and be able to shift from 2H to 4H!! ??
Everything I've read about Ford's Electronic Shift on the Fly system suggests that it is higher than that. The couple times I've switched to 4H on my truck, though? I was probably sub-15MPH at the time.

Pretty sure you can shift from 2hi to 4hi or 4a and back at any speed.
Same for the diff locks.

Also, the truck won't let you select a mode or feature if it would cause damage or be unsafe. No need to worry!

Probably 15 to 20 miles per hour speed is the max in my opinion!!!

I was wondering the same thing about max speed one could engage 4 wheel drive. The manual doesn't seem to state.
However it states the rear locker can be engaged at up to 20 MPH and unlimited if in Sand or Mud rut mode. Page 210

Do it all the time in the winter going around 60mph on sketchy roads and highways, it'll just tell you to step off the gas pedal when you shift between 2H and 4H.
Hello 👋, ok you have the exact same pickup as me right ,2024 ford ranger xl 4wd 2.3l!!
