Car Dealer Ratings

Maybe it's just Car Dealers in Chicago, but the last 3 times I've bought a car the salesperson at the dealer tells me I'll be getting a rating email and if they don't get a 10 out of 10 the sale was a failure. If there's anything you wouldn't give us a 10 out of 10 for let me know so we can correct it so you will give us a 10. We really need to get all 10s

Pushing a 10 out 10 rating makes the whole rating system a farce.

Happened for me too in Washington. I gave the salesman full stars. Then they ask how likely I am to return or recommend their dealer, I answered an honest neutral (according to their scale) and I started getting calls about why was I so upset. Apparently the salesman lost a bonus because of that. Their rating system is broken. I answered neutral because it's just a store to me, I got what I wanted and was happy, but I'm not going to go tell everyone I ever see to go there. Apparently that's not satisfactory for Ford.

I just ignored mine and they quit bothering me.

I didn't get a survey when I bought it, but every time I get Quick Lane services, I get e-mails asking for ratings. I don't do them, doesn't do me any good.
