Cup holder retainer FAIL

I got my Raptor Ranger last month. Yesterday I noticed that the cup holder retainers have been pushed inside the console.
They seem to have escaped the silicone rubber band thingy, based on what little I can see through the slots.
Considering how little use they’ve seen in just one month, this seems like a pretty ridiculous design or assembly mistake.
Anyone else encountered this? Any good fixes or alternative solutions? Sure, it should be a warranty fix but if it happens that easily it won’t stay fixed…

I'd guess assembly issue. I have the same style cupholders in my 2017 and haven't seen a failure like that

Yeah, I had a 21 Lariat Tremor prior to the Raptor. Never had an issue with those cup holders, and they were “high use” items.
