I think I’m just going to sell the DB and get a topper. Anyone who’s near Minneapolis and wants to buy one, let’s talk!

Sucks about the cross bin… I guess I didn’t research thoroughly enough just assumed they would have a cross bin for it.

J brace reason doesn’t really make much sense to me. The issue is fixed and they already willingly sell the cover stating that it needs the brace fix why is the cross bin any different.

I believe it will still work. I'm pretty sure the '24/25's bed width is less than 1/2" wider than the '23 and earlier models. I'm thinking about just attaching supports to the underside corners of the main storage area and connecting them to the bed if it's actual a support issue.

My DB SE has been holding up very well. I initially installed the cover on January 28th, but I've removed and reinstalled it once because we had a string of mild weather and I took that opportunity to permanently install the Bed Rug. We've had a few days of wet inclement weather but nothing close to a downpour that I can recall. Under those circumstances, I've not noticed any issues or water breaches, so in short and as far as I can tell, the bed has remained dry. I've also washed the truck a couple times using a pressure washer and again, I've not noticed water entering the bed or any wetness to the Bed Rug.
There's been quite a few rain occurrences since my last post regarding a question about water intrusion and the DB SE cover. Some of these rain events have been outright downpours. The bed has remained dry although during the downpours, I wasn't out driving the truck. Today, however, I drove my Lariat for its first long trip through a nasty storm...like the white knuckle, kung-fu grip on the steering wheel type of storm. Happy to report that while driving approximately half the 550 mile trip thru periods of nerve-wracking barrage of driving rain at highway speeds, my truck bed appears to be dry as the desert.
