It is a vinyl wrap that we added prior to installing the rocker guards.
I wanted to tie the black fender flairs from the front to back as well as hide the white paint that would have shown up in the gaps between the rocker guard moldings.
I have a dark green R/R so wonder if it will look good without doing anything?

Do you have a pic of what it looks like with the boards off before you did anything?
Sure
This was the day I took delivery at the dealer.

No, sorry.

All I have is those that I took during the process that I posted earlier.

If you do nothing other than take the boards off, you will see a lot of exposed pinch welds and crap I really don't like seeing.

If for some reason all this stuff I am doing to protect the rocker panels as well as hide the pinch welds post board removal, should turn out to be a bust.
I will likely end up putting the boards back on or possibly see what power steps look like.
Or going the rhino liner approach.

This was my original thread with similar title.

This another Members ( Machduty )that I took some inspiration from when deciding how high I wanted to go up the sides with the vinyl wrap that I did on mine. He used a bedliner material when he had his trucks bedliner done.

I am not sure I am following you.
What boards are we talking about?

The ones I took off came with the truck.
They are standard on all Ranger Raptors.

That is the vinyl wrap with the plastic rocker guards stuck on top/bottom of it.

No shortage of options out there. You just have to be prepared to look globally.

Here are a selection after about 1 second of searching - there are many many more.

Too bad the shipping costs more than the product to get here to the USA. Those PPD sliders are nice, but I'm not paying 1.3X the cost of the product to get them here... will just have to wait until someone comes up with a similar product stateside.
