No, center screen does too on my 24 Raptor.

Oh ok. I'm usually 100% on Android Auto when I'm in the truck so maybe that's why I haven't noticed.

took me months as well, CarPlay for me but its great that we can all use our chosen platform, GM is INSANE for taking both out of their cars, and even Tesla is adding CarPlay, so I've read a bunch recently.

Under the general settings there are 3 different display modes as well. There’s dark, light and auto. Similar to the settings on your phone. I don’t usually like dark mode on my phone, but prefer it on the center display. I think the grey box for the controls looks cheap.

I think this setting is for Day/Night (according to light sensor) if set to AUTO and it is not due to drive modes

You are correct, but thought it might have been possible for the background color to of changed if thedark/bright mode was changed. I tried it out after posting and the background color does not change between the two.
