EU Ranger Raptor Tuning 🇬🇧

Hi all, wondering if anyone on here has bought the BPT Motorsport package to be able to tune the EU Ranger Raptors? I’m too keen to do it, but want to make sure there’s no issues before parting with £2,500 of my British Pounds! Thanks

The issue would be the euro ECU. BPT motorsports and Herrods have authorisation from Ford Australia to perform the turns - but that’s probably only going to work on Australian ECUs.

Euro ECUs are probably not going to be compatible with the Aussie tune

Not even sure if a ECU swap would work as they’re probably VIN assigned ECUs

Have you tried speaking with the BPT guys - they should know a lot more about it. Shoot them an email and see what they say?

Sorry pal, should have said that I have spoken to them and it’s absolutely fine to fit it to an EU Ranger Raptor. Was just after some experiences really, want to make sure it’s still as driveable, etc.

Hello, the kit and the support from BPT works perfectly. All systems work without any error messages, the Raptor drives like a production car but with significantly more torque and power. Regards Stephan

Where abouts in Hampshire are you? I hear they swap the ECU and they remote in to reset the immobiliser and you'll need to do that each time you change it (if you swap it back for service etc). also are you removing the ppf or can you keep it do you know? I am wanting to do the same but worried about warranty so waiting for that to be up and hoping something closer to home comes on the market. DMS were meant to be working on something but have since gone quiet

Yeah they swap it out and reprogramme the keys. I was going to get 2 new ones so that way I could swap it out with no issues should I ever need to. I’ll ask more questions to BPT when I’m ready to do it, in an ideal world it’ll just be an unlocked ECU with the Ford Performance Tune loaded on, but doubt that’s what it’ll be.

I know right. I already emailed ford performance and they have no plans to release the tune for rest of world and whipple have stopped development
