Extended warranty

I keep my vehicles for a long time and plan to get the extended warranty from Ford. My question is are there any other reputable companies that offer extended warranties that the dealership takes with no hassle?

If the average person who bought an extended warranty got their money back in repairs, the people who sell them would lose money. And they don't lose money. They're a bad deal for consumers. I keep up on maintenance and have an emergency fund should something go wrong. That's my peace of mind.
