What are your thoughts on the Bridgestone Dueler A/T Ascent? I picked these out of the AT category for their superior (Tirerack tested) ice performance and consumer reported best NVH. Supposed to get them put on today.

Probably not number one for extreme off-roading, but that's not my use case anyway.
Extremely mild tread pattern. For a guy 99.5% on pavement they would likely be an excellent choice. The way the outer lugs are closed up makes me think it'll be a quiet tire. Probably not good in the mud or deep snow, but excellent for highway use and rainy days.

Having said that I haven't reviewed that one because I generally avoid HT and very mild AT tires. Seems that most folks are interested in more aggressive AT and MT tire reviews.

Sounds great for my use case! My hope is in deep snow I'm not digging holes rather getting snow on snow traction from the sipes anyway since ground clearance is like 11.5" at best.

I wonder if the KO3s softer rubber helps it off road and with rocks as compared to the better wearing Falkens?
