Obviously no confirmation on fitment for NA models but a good look at where the aftermarket is headed either way.

I grew up in the tuner scene of the early 2000’s so BOV is music to my ears and likely the first thing I add to it after my RazorTop. But it’s definitely not for everyoneThat BOV is terribly obnoxious in my eyes (ears?), but to each their own. The truck looks sharp though!
Never heard of a RazorTop before now. What an interesting product!I grew up in the tuner scene of the early 2000’s so BOV is music to my ears and likely the first thing I add to it after my RazorTop. But it’s definitely not for everyone
It’s the only top I’ve found that suits my needs. I only need a topper one day a week for my hockey gear. My bed will be mostly empty the rest of the time but it gives me the option of having an open bed in a couple minutes if I want. Plus it doesn’t take 15 minutes to convert and I don’t have to drill snaps into my bed like the soft toppers do. Plus it’s lightweight, not permanent, adds lighting, and is made of actual convertible top material instead of cheap vinyl. Plus made in USANever heard of a RazorTop before now. What an interesting product!
According to the video this increases surface area by 50%. It sounds like it’s pretty effective. I looked up the cost though, and you are not getting your money’s worth for it. It goes for $1300 US before shipping. Most aftermarket airboxes are a gimmick, similar to "cold air intake". They are generally just a filter that filters less. The only way to increase airflow is a filter with more surface area, or a less dense filter that impedes the air less because it filters less.
There are some arguments to materials/dry filter/oiled filter, but at the end of the day most common kits are a waste of money.
This specific kit could actually be good (assuming more filter surface area over stock), but I would have to compare it to the stock filter, which I haven't found many specs on.
On its own, probably not. But if you’re to the point of doing a stage 2 setup with Intercooler and downpipes, I could see this being useful. I just want it for the noise.Ops, I should have watched the whole video. Definitely not enough HP/Torque gained for that price though.
Would be interesting to see some Dyno pulls to see when the stock setup becomes a restriction.
