Thank you very much for the 411Not to worry/ the green tint is the black lite dye that is put in the oil to ck for leaks.
I just did mine a week ago at 750 miles and yes there’s some green-ish tint to the oil so I just sent a sample to blackstone as well will see.I recently did the first oil change in my 2025 Lariat FX4 with the 2.7 v6 at just under 800 miles. I sent a sample to Blackstone Labs for analysis and the report just came in a few minutes ago. I don't know any details about the oil Ford uses for the initial fill, so I just guessed that it was Motorcraft 5w30. I was surprised to find it was really green when I drained it, so I put a comment on the slip of paper that went along with the sample. I was also curious about whether they'd find any indication of coolant making its way to the oil because I did have to add coolant once so far, but I think I was a bit low at delivery and being new I'm not necessarily alarmed with the levels and/or consumption being (just a bit) off. So the report just gave me piece of mind.
Anyway, I just thought I'd share for others who like this kind of stuff.
