Hi all,

Heading to my first Raptor event this next weekend. Looking for any tips, tricks, etc.

I’ve got a midland unit arriving Monday, I’ve got the bed reinforcements installed with my Alu Cab cap, I’ve got front facing lights ( I need chase lights which I’ll get this week, albeit cheap ones, not ready to grab DD SS1s yet), and two VP racing 5 gallon fuel jugs arriving tomorrow that I’ll mount in the bed.

But beyond that, what else would you recommend?

Event came and went without much issue for me! Only think that broke was the passenger latch on the rear of the alucab has somehow shifted off of the striker plate and it won’t stay latched closed. Need to figure out how to potentially tweak that back..

Oh man.... Cleaning that lovely GA red clay is going to take a lifetime!

Made the mistake of doing the initial cleanup in my driveway. Spent 75% of the time washing the driveway and my neighbors curbs than the actual truck. Lesson learned that I should’ve learned long ago living in Georgia my whole life

Yep... I hear ya about the clean up.
I take my freshly off-roaded muddy vehicle to one of those car washes with the pressure wand first.
Those types of car washes are getting harder to find in the Atlanta area now.

Back in the day when I would take one of my old Toyota 4X4's out in the mud, I'd spray the underside with PAM cooking spray before playtime. It made cleanup much easier!

I have family out in the Warner Robins/Perry area and my cousins hated that stuff when heading out for hunting trips.

Looks like it was a lot of fun. I need to attend one of the Atlanta Raptors events. I think I might have saw your RR on Jamerson in Marietta today. It looked like yours.
