I’m a proud owner of a 2025 Ford Ranger. As we all know, the bed is rather short. If I purchase the Ford bed extender, can I load my dirt bike (Yamaha WR250R) and THEN put the bed extender into place? Once I arrive at my destination (the mountains of Southern California), can I remove the bed extender, roll my bike out, and then store the bed extender in the bed while I’m riding?

Yes the bed extender will flip into box.

I have this one for many years. Ramp/ Bed extender. Ready Ramp.

A good item for motorcycles is an angle iron bracket with tie down points close to tire.
i purchased one, it had a tire cut out also. goes behind cab high on bed.

I could not find the one i had on a previous Ranger.

Running a husqvarna 701 enduro. Loaded straight in, cannot get the bed extender. Might be possible if the bike is angle a bit.

I should mention this is with a roll up tonneau cover taking some space in the front of the bed though.

The 701 Husky/KTM 690 is bigger and has a longer wheelbase than any dirt bike I've seen. I no longer have my Husky and never tried to load it in the Ranger, but if it almost fits straight in, most dirt bikes should fit fine.

Unless a guy is loading two bikes, angling it is essy.
