Ford OEM Trailer Hitch wiring question

@TexasCajun did you end up getting that OEM 4/7 plug installed? Curious if you got it mated into the bumper nicely!

Yes I sure did, I ordered the OEM 4/7 off of eBay. I then removed the plastic cover on the bumper and then used a Dremel to cut the opening. On the back side of the plastic piece there is a ridge for the 4/7, I cut on the inside of that, I had to cut twice because I wanted it to be clean. You don't want to over cut the plastic.

The bumper was ready to except the 4/7 so it was pretty easy job.

I really wish I'd seen your posts before I ordered the wrong one. The dealer didn't even know this was the harness needed. Now it's on back order and I need it to tow an RV in two weeks....damn
