Ford software beta program invitation

Just received an email from Ford to try out for their software beta program.
Wondering if anyone has applied before or plan to do so now assuming received an invite.

Well I usually do betas but with a vehicle I'm not sure.
It's an invite but acceptance is not guaranteed.

Is there some sort of incentive for participating in this? I don't really see the upside unless they're paying you or giving Ford points or something.

I did after the purchase last September. I enrolled in the program and was accepted. Have not heard anything since.

Bad enough that the GA releases are buggy. Can't imagine loading a beta release into my daily driver.

This being my daily driver I'm hesitant.
Searching on topic it's seems that once one signs up, nothing happens. Be interested if you receive any beta code.

I wouldn't say "nothing happens." It might not happen. Even if it does, I wouldn't worry about working with beta ECM firmware or some such.
