Has anyone found a way to activate the "Baja" suspension mode separate from actually having to put the truck in Baja?

I've seen the Bronco Raptors have it separated out in the suspension options but ours only show it in "offroad suspension" even when it is in Baja mode vs. Offroad mode. But I can clearly tell the suspension feels different between baja and offroad mode.

Need help. Might have messed something up. I went into forscan first time following instructions. I backed up my vehicle profile Then disabled some chimes. Then I went in bdcm module to reset my ties sice (I upsized to 34s). Saved that. I now get a wrench and a 'check 4x4' error when starting. Any idea how I get out of that? Thanks.

Did you save the modules before you made any changes?

Try reinstalling the original codes for that module and see if the warning goes away.

I will try that. I think my error stems for the change in bdycm tire circumference. Apparently, it has to match the DTC - should be a procedure for that.. So if you don't make them identical, it has two values and generates an error..

Man, i cannot recall exactly what to do but maybe its at the bottom of your list when you the modules, maybe its not in the trans module. Scroll to the bottom of the module list and see if it talks about a transmission or something relearn.

And you know what, i think it talks about it on the forscan spreadsheet too.

I know about it because my laptop died whilr we were doing my father in law's truck after he got bigger tires. All the lights came on and i thought i was goinf to have to reload to stock and start over on all the things we had done but once i did that relearn, all the lights turned off and the truck was perfect

OK. Thanks for that. Did a bit of research. Did find some generic instructions in the forscan forum
( How to use FORScan to adjust tire size - FORScan forum ). Basically needed to relarn the mismatched modules. In this case (a 6G RR changing tire size) it's PCM and AWD. Both have an incompatible value and need to relearn from the ECC (a global variable container multiple modules can lookup to - or a reference array. Once done, my errors were off. I'll lay low a couple days hoping it's all solid.. That was a bit scary for a first foray with forscan..

I already posted it:

  1. BdyCM: change the size calculated with this: https://docs.google.com/spreadsheets...it?gid=0#gid=0
  2. PCM Module relearn
  3. TCM Module relearn
  4. AWD Module relearn
  5. Clear all DTC (TCM P160A will stay!)
  6. Disconnect Forscan, close.
  7. Ignition Off - Open door, wait until the monitors go black.
  8. start Forscan and connect the car.
  9. start (!!) the car (not only ignition)
  10. with the running car, relearn TCM again!
  11. it will force you to shut down the car near the end of the relearn process. Do so
  12. there after ignition on
  13. telete DTC
  14. TCM DTC is gone!
  15. Go out for a ride. Drive at least 5 miles and at least a short time above 63mph (>100kph).

Wow! the tire size change sure has gotten complicated. On my 5G Ranger it was on the BodyCM; input the new tire diameter in millimeters and done....
