UPDATE: I asked my dealer to take a look at the peeling paint on the lower valence. They submitted it to Ford and it was approved for warranty replacement. So if you have peeling paint, just know that Ford is aware and they will replace the part.
I'm going to ask to keep the old one so I can sand off the paint and LineX it. I'll use it as a backup in a few years when the new one has actual rock dings.
Finally got my truck back to the dealer, they've sent the bumper off for a new paint job. Good to hear some have had them replaced. If the repaint is not good enough I'll push harder.
