Tail light paint chip

Just Picked up my RR from the dealer today . It was in for warranty service for a paint chip inside the body line that meets the the tail light (Common problem) . I just wanted to give a shout out to Dana Ford of Staten Island for fixing it after I had taken it home and found it. Also they had it for a week and gave me a loaner. The dealership has been good to over the years. Also I purchased this vehicle at sticker. I know they have another one just like mine build date scheduled for Nov 25. They get alot of allocations. I would recommend giving them a call ask for Ahmed he is very helpful.

I have this same issue on the left tail light. The upper right corner. What did they wind up doing to fix it?

People who have fixed it themselves have machined/sanded down the plastic tail light a bit so it doesn't happen again. Less than an hour if you're not too handy.

I just got the truck 2 weeks ago. wondering if I should bring it up with my dealer. I have a few other things that need to be addressed. Minor stuff.

Mine doesn't appear to be doing it yet, but I'm going to pull the lights myself and fix it up before it starts.

I have not looked but can the light just be adjusted down a bit or is it just shit QC?

No one has said it can be adjusted. Looks like shit QC.

You should be able to adjust it. I watched my dealer adjust the first one that I ordered. If it didn't have other paint issues I would have taken it. It's a manufacturing issue that for some reason Ford hasn't addressed. Mainly see it on Raptors for some reason.

Just checked mine and it does look like the LH taillight is rubbing on the top a little..
How hard is this to adjust?

Just looked at 3 more RR today, all of them had the driver's tail light touching the paint, however no chips that I could tell. 2 of them had paint defects, below the rear tailight and on hood. Shame I don't know why Ford has such a hard time painting these trucks. Looked over several Broncos on the lot and I couldn't fine any issues with them.
