As anyone in the area is well aware of, I70 through most of MO right now is under construction. I do my best to avoid these stretches under construction where possible but last weekend we had to drive from St Louis to Columbia for my Grandmother's 91st birthday. Despite maintaining lots of distance to the vehicles in front and never hearing any rocks hit the truck, we arrived home to a busted front camera. See pic below.
I looked the part up and it looks to be about $250 and it looks like it just snaps into it's housing under the front Ford emblem. Hardly enough to warrant an insurance claim so I am just going to take care of it myself.
Does anyone know if I essentially just remove and replace the camera or are there additional steps I need to take as far as aligning/calibrating the camera?
