Fuel Tank Size Upgrade for 2.7L, R4H body

It would be pretty awesome to have an extended range tank on the eventual Tremor…but I’m not holding my breath. Ford has no excuse though, the F150 gets a 36 gallon tank standard.

The trucks down under seem to have surprisingly small tanks too, they just have far more aftermarket support.

I am curious if an Australian tank for a diesel truck would fit on the 2.7 though.

-Diesel tank would not work. The diesel tank would not have the needed provisions for vapor canisters and emissions.

Seems we need to standby for LRA or another company to provide the larger tanks.

It would be nice to know why Ford wouldn't have an extended fuel tank option. Australia and the United States are about the same size. Both our countries have a huge off-road and long range enthusiast cohort.

Imagine us in canada with winter half the year. In winter we get -30% fuel economy. I was crying the whole winter with that little 250mi range when NOT even pulling.
