Happy Father's day Ranger 6G

We had a nice day, oldest daughter came in from a 2 hr. drive, youngest daughter and wife were here and son called from Virginia 5hr away from where we're at in Pennsylvania. We took a nice drive in our Ranger and did a short hike,afterwards we had a nice barbecue. I hope you all had a nice Father's day.

i got to talk to my dad and step dad for a bit and then my oldest son called and talked for a bit, too.

Went to an upscale restaurant overlooking lake Micigan. Served our Ice Tea immediately then waited for almost a half hour for the meal. Decided to bolt. Left money for the tea then went to a local bar we had never been to before. They had the best Burgers and Perch basket we have hand in a long time. Free desert for Fathers Day and service was GREAT! Craft beer was excellent too. Local Bars are the best!

I'm you got to talk to your dad and step dad, it's good they are both still alive. I said happy father's day to my father's ashes, that we keep on the China cabinet ( not sad he had a great life and was a great father). Thanks for your share.

do you guys have rocky beaches up there? i have been to cali beaches (grew up in socal), hawaii beaches (dad was stationed there for 3 years), texas beaches (live half mile from one), and the carolinas but never up to any norther beaches past virgina. i always picture the beaches up there are rocky and grey skies (read alot of stephen king books, ha ha ha) but have never actually seen one. are you close enough to get a truck pic in front, like novastar did?

Being from Pennsylvania I have spent some time on the New Jersey beaches and they are all sandy.

Is it off highway 1? The few tims i have been further up the cali beaches they seemed to be roxkey and cliff lined.

This is my other ranger at the end of my street. That is the laguna madre, between padre/mustang island and corpus christi. The other side of the island is the gulf of mexico, about 6 miles from my house. This shot is maybe a half mile down the street from the house.
