Is anyone else with blue tooth equipped hearing aids having problems with cell phone connection in the 2024 ranger? These are not OTC cheapos. These are the expensive prescription hearing aids. Problem is that my aids should connect to the car bluetooth thru my cell phone but they are erratic working some of the time, cutting out, dropping calls. Tried to bypass the Sync 4a by unsyncing it from my cell phone but as long as the Bluetooth is on it still interferes with the connection. I am trying to connect to the Bang & Olfson so I can hear the cell phone calls thru those speakers. Even though I have hearing loss, when the speakers do connect I can hear the caller fairly well.

Just want to know if anyone else is having hearing aid connection problems.

Also, if you wear earbuds – how do they work with your cell phone and the sync 4A?

So not hearing aid related, but bluetooth related. There is a known issue of just in general poor quality bluetooth connection with this truck. I see it when streaming music from my phone to the truck and occasionally when taking a call, there is a ton of static. The static issue is not always present, seems related to when the phone pairs with the truck and such.

I never tried mine. Maybe have to see if my hearing aids connect.

I haven’t tried pairing my HA’s with my truck.
One point: the Ranger does not have Sync 4A.
Rangers only have Sync 4.

So you have the Adaptive Dash cards and frequently used dash items on your Raptor?
My XLT does not.

SYNC 4A Versus SYNC 4
There are a couple of main features of SYNC 4A that distinguish it from SYNC 4:

  • Adaptive Dash Cards
  • Automatic placement of frequently used dash items at the top of the screen
Note: SYNC 4 cannot be upgraded to SYNC 4A.

I have the expensive hearing aids too. I see similar issues. I have Oticon hearing aids.
