Hello, I will try to explain my problem, apologies if it is not clear.
I noticed yesterday that if I press the TRACTION CONTROL (not sure if in english is named like that), the button is next to start stop button and close to the terrain selection rotator... well.. if I press it, nothing happens.. nothing is shown in the IPC, so the TC is not disabled/enabled.. it is currently enabled, but I cant disable it.

I tried putting the truck in 2L and a light showed up in the IPC showing TC off (which means it is properly working), but for some reason, the button in the console does nothing. I tried keeping it pressed for a couple of seconds and nothing.

Am I doing something wrong? Did I mess it up when I used forscan? Any help? Thanks! and apologies if the message is not clear

what happens when you hold the button for about 5 or 10 seconds?

when i press it, it turns off traction control only. when i hold it for 5-10 seconds, it shows the traction control disable screen with the light bar moving across the bottom as it disconnects and then also shows another screen afterwards, with another light bar moving across the bottom and then it turns off traction control and some other things.

but i also found out that if i hold the traction control button to long, it kills the button and i have to restart the truck or the button stops working. so be aware that can happen too

thanks for your message @superj . If I press it, it does nothing, if I hold it, it does nothing, it looks like the button does not work. But the TC does. I am guessing that I may made a mistake with forscan, the problem is that I do not have backups, and it may happened some time ago, so I am not sure what change would need to be reverted. I will try to investigate which module controls the button. Or maybe the button is working, but the IPC is not showing it.. Grrrrrr... I want to fix it..

You can get the base asbuilt data from Ford’s motorcraft website. Just put in your country and VIN and you should be able to download a list of all the asbuilt data. This might help you get back to a base IPC build. It does sound like something was changed when you were playing around with Forscan. ALWAYS make a backup before making any changes in the future

Here’s the website to download asbuilt data:
