Those last two posts make it look more like a burnt orange color than a red. It is interesting how that color appears to really change depending on the lighting. In the sunshine the photos make it appear very red - in more interior lighting it appears more orange-ish. I guess I'd need to see it in person to understand it better. It kind of looks like a color I used to have on a car - it changed from almost a black to more of a deep purple in the sunshine. I think it was called blackberry - but a very interesting color.

I noticed when I was walking around the truck that the angle your at and amount of light change the amount of red you see.

This color does appear to have an orangey tint up close and under certain lighting. I would recommend seeing it up close before purchasing.

I could see how that ambiguous color would appeal to a lot of buyers. Unfortunately, for my preference, the actual paint color looks little like the picture in your avatar.

The Hot Pepper Red color is also used on the 2018/19 Focus and the Fiesta. Look for one of these cars at a local dealership to get a first hand look at the color.
