Was in my morning commute earlier about to approach the rail road so I started slowing down school bus in my front right passenger side was about to stop, so a gap started forming in between us then a lady coming behind the bus just cut through and did a hard stop in front of me when the railroad lights went on.

I'll snap some pics tomorrow when I take the skid plate off and check underneath. Already ordered the SVC bumper. I was hoping it only pushed in the metal plates behind the bumper and not the actual bumper mounting point frame.

Just took the lower valance out to inspect. Looks like its just the bumper and the metal plates behind it.

Power puller and a tree? When my daughters were learning to drive, that combo was my best friend. Well...power puller connected to the bumper of my Super Duty.

We just chain it to a palm tree and back up till its straight.

Well fellas looks like this was a poor excuse on getting an aftermarket bumper lol

Ouch! Hope she got cited and had insurance. In some States even with the cut in and hard stop, you will get cited for "failure to yield" or "driving too close for conditions" or similar. And then there is "no fault."

We did stop on the side of the road and assess the damage. I saw my bumper was a little misaligned then I looked at her rav 4 and the trunk door was caved in(LOL). I just immediately thought I'll just replace it w/ an aftermarket bumper and went on w/ my way.

The school bus driver did let me know to jot down the bus number as the bus has recording available if I ever need it.

Negative, since the damage is only somewhat minimal. I was planning on replacing my bumper with an aftermarket one down the road, it just ended up being earlier than planned.

Now if the damage is way worse than this, then I would've definitely filed a police report.
