I ordered a matte screen protector someone else referenced earlier in the thread (Innosure from Amazon). It arrived today and I put it on. Overall, easy to install, save for trying to get all four corners and the sides perfectly aligned. Mine is off to the right by like a 64th of an inch. Just enough to be annoying 😅

I'm also not 100% satisfied with the top left corner (area circled in red). Looks damaged/chipped. I honestly don't know if it came out of the box that way or not as I didn't look closely, so I'll just swallow the cost and order another at some point. This one served as practice for the second one.

Just placed my Innosure order based on the thread! Wasn't too worried about scratch but matte and glare will be nice.

I wasn't too worried about scratches either, but something I forgot to mention was how many fine scratches and circular...anomalies...I found when I gave the screen a good clean in preparation for the screen protector. When I saw all that, I was super glad I had ordered a screen protector. I bet you'll find the same when you put yours on.

Something else I didn't mention is the Innosure seems like a good product. Touch sensitivity is not affected, and the lack of fingerprints is nice. With the brightness up to 0, the overall look of the screen is still sharp. I think you'll be happy with yours! 🙂

To me it was the matte surface cut down on glare but there is a small hit on absolute contrast.

normally these things are hard to put, well at Least for me, on but these was a breeze.

No.
They aren't worth it on your phone and they aren't worth it on your dash.
They provide no tangible benefit and there are potential downsides.
Simply not needed.

How'd you like using the alignment stickers? I used the suction cups and placed them in the two top corners, but I think that actually made it harder to line up the right side, thus why it ended up being off slightly.
