Nice, I stopped in to CJ’s when on vacation a few years back and picked some parts up for my ‘68!

No mods. 4x4 with locking diff. Im In love with this thing, it's better than I expected in all regards. First couple things I'm thinking about are skid plate(s) and new shocks... shoulda got an fx4

Good looking truck! For what you saved on the FX4 package you could get the Fox kit and upgrade your shocks and level at the same time!

Are you sure you don’t have skid plates?
above is my xl trim 4x4. The only one it doesn’t have is under the transfer case, which i think is a bit frivolous anyhow considering the TC sits within the frame rails.

A new set of tires can add an inch of ground clearance and a mile of confidence. Low range and your locker will do everything the fx4 throttle controller will.

Yeah, I'm curious what skid plates I'm missing out on as well by not having an FX4. I stuck my head under the front of my truck and gave what's under there a knock and there's definitely a hefty skid plate there.

Ingot Silver Lariat bought with 10 miles on it. Have added AVS Bugflector II, AVS Low Profile Ventvisors, Line-X sprayed bed liner, Extang Solidfold 2.0 hard folding tonneau cover, LED bulbs for license plate, LED puddle lights, Husky Weather Beater Liners front and back, ABS chrome tailgate letters, and will be installing OEM molded splash guards this weekend. Oh and can't forget my NE Patriots hitch cover.
