Thanks in advance for any and all advice and information. 2025 FX4 4wd 2.3 turbo. 3 1/2” lift. I was almost pulling the trigger on 285/70r/17 Mickey Thompson Baja Boss AT (33.1” tire) with 17/8.5 +25 wheels. Should be no fitment issues. But now I’m looking at same M/T tire but in a 255/85R/17 ( which is a 34.4” tire) my question is would I need that +25 offset with these? Suggestions on off set?

oh man. you will have to get under and take some measurements with a string and weight to see where everything is going to fall

That might be just enough lift to avoid pulling the crash bars off for that +25 and 255/85 (34.4") combo.

Only concern I might have with that combo or rather just a little bit of caution anyway is on that with an 8.5" wire rim and a 255 wide tire, it's not going to offer much tire bulge for rim protection.
Sort of a narrow tire on wider wheel.
