Interesting - I thought the "thing" above the driver on the ceiling was the phone mic. Anyone know what that is? We have the same thing in our 2016 C-Max and I always assumed it was the phone mic.

That’s definitely a microphone. But the center mounted ones near the rearview mirror might either be more microphones or speakers.

Interestingly, I asked the Ford Rep when I took a test drive what those center mounted holes were, and he claimed it was microphones so the passenger and driver could be heard when making phone calls.

That would make sense - I know on the C-Max you can't hear the passenger very well on the phone-we always assumed that was because there was just the one mic above the driver. If those little grilles were additional mics, it would pick up sound better. I'll be interested if anyone has a definitive answer for those.

Well dam, now I'm not sure. I guess we will know when someone takes delivery.

I'm guessing one is the phone mic, and the other is for the cabin noise reduction mic. Which one is which? No idea.

They are most likely NSA listening devices. Just don't talk bad about Ford or 'Murica and you'll be all right..

It appears that the seatbacks on the Supercab are fixed and stationary.
I think not, but do they fold or come out? I see that the headrests
fold for rear visibility when not in use.

Check pages 120 and 121 of the owner's manual. Seatbacks fold according to manual.

You may be right, but it looks like they only show the Crewcab "sedan" version and not clear on the SuperCab "coupe" version.

@toddiscdn if you get a chance can you:

1) take some photos of the rearview mirror from behind? I want to see how it’s powered and if I can tap into that power for a dashcam.

2) take some photos of the internal fuse box under the steering wheel? I would like to know how to access it and what size fuses it uses.

Thank you!

Not much to see up under the mirror. This is looking straight up, just the plastic box up against the back of the mirror

Edit- to explain this the front of the truck would be to the right and you can see the back side of the mirror on the left

Id like to know how to get into the fuse box too! The owners manual is no help, it just shows the location and an arrow I assume indicates a pulling motion. I tugged as hard as I dared with no luck . No visible screws or fasteners.

It looks like you just pull. Probably really tight because it's new
