Just got my VIN and production date

Got my email from Ford that the Lariat order that was placed in early February is now in the system. They gave me a Vin and they gave me a start date of 20 May. Any guesses as to how long after that start date I might actually see my truck? Another entire month or what are people thinking?

Also, when I went to the ford.com website and tried to track my order, it told me I had a bad Vin. I’m guessing that’s because it takes a day or two for everything to get registered in the system? Have other people had that issue?

Depends on where you live. I’m in Wyoming and it took 3 weeks on train for my Bronco then another week sitting at railyard in Denver before it was sent to Dealer. I would guess you might have truck in mid to late June.

After ordering my ranger in the middle of February and tracking its progress on the Ford app, today it switched to status “shipped” which is very exciting for me . I live in Colorado so I’m guessing 2 to 3 weeks before it arrives? Does that sound about right?

I ordered in December, built in March, and was just told last week not to expect it before August. Pretty sure I'll be bailing on this order.

Any word why it’s sitting? There are a bunch of Rangers showing up in my area. Wonder what the hold up is. I’m suppose to be built next week. See how quickly this goes for me.

I got an email from Ford saying my production was delayed at the same time as the website showed production starting early. So perhaps yours will be quicker than it sounds.
