That might be an option that actually works better than the peltier cooling.Rivian has ac plumbed to the seats. Cold air comes through when its on.

Definitely would like to get some installed living by Vegas!$3500 installed. Ac/Heat on both front seats. Same material and design in rear seats w/o AC or Heat.
I thought the same thing but when I got my wife an Explorer ST with Ventilated seats and I found out the difference it makes!Nice! I live in Texas and it is hot af right now. This would be nice but I don't see it worth $3500 (for me). Truck cools down pretty quickly.
Wife has it in her SUV and there are def a few times that it is awesome - like after an all day baseball tournament.I thought the same thing but Neil I got my wife an Explorer ST with Ventilated seats and I found out the difference it makes!

Are the OEM buttons useless now? Did you notice any difference in the heated seats between OEM and what you have now? What about the ventilated seats in your wife's Explorer ST...do those feel the same as your current cooled seats?Yes, has its own AC/Heat unit for each seat. Katzkins Degreez unit. Two way switch on seat controls Heat&AC. Does not interface with OEM Heat.
Yes, they are complete new Skins for the seats and must be installed. Takes acount 2 days if AC/Heat is included. Excellent quality leather even with their base material. Make the Ford OEM Skins look very cheap. I went with their Ranger Raptor Look-a-like set and added the Ventilated center seat back and bottoms. Ventilation and Heat sets It come with flow through padding and all the equipment to make the work. I have no idea what the other pre made sets might look like. You can design you own custom look and colors. I didn't want to spend the extra time or money for that and am more than pleased with the way they turned out.Am I correct that these are seat covers rather than actual seats? If so, you must have installed the switch shown (nice job, BTW). I noticed on Katzin's website that they call out the Lariat trim separately. Do you know what is different about that kit vs the XLT kit?
I haven't pressed the Heated Seat buttons on the Infotainment system yet, but I hope and expect the Heated steering wheel still works. Have no reason to doubt they won't. Also haven't tried the Heated seatong yet. It's been mid90's feeling like 105 or more so will wait for it too cool off to really see how they work for Heat. Are the OEM buttons useless now? Thanks!
I understand. I live in Florida, and with the Humidity and Tempertures we have this time of year, they make perfect sense! Just wish I had done this the first summer I had this in 2024!Nice looking seats but I'd have to be living in Death Valley to justify $3500 - The A/C, especially with remote start, does a great job of cooling things off in a hurry.
Well, I have 455HP in the Ranger Raptor and 400 in the Explorer ST, so I'm good!Wife has it in her SUV and there are def a few times that it is awesome - like after an all day baseball tournament.
I think I'd rather have 600 hp than these though.![]()
