Keko USA Tailgate Seal Kit for 2024 Ranger? Feedback or comments needed.

I can’t find any reviews about this kit from Brazil. It is more sophisticated than the other seals, it includes plastic brackets that fill the large gaps at the top, and it includes separate long pieces on the bed opening and some thick filler pads, I am not sure if other kits do this…. . And it is about double the price of the generic ones.

Comments? I did email the USA office to ask if replacement rubber parts were available, in case of damage or loss.

In looking at my gate, I am having a hard time believing that any seal kit could successfully work on those ginormous gaps.

The is true, the U.S. Rangers are the only ones that came with dampers. If it's for a Brazilian Ranger, they most likely didn't take that into consideration.

The bracket may not interfere but the long strip that runs down adjacent to the bracket would. It could potentially just be cut and sacrifice that portion.

I guess looking at it more the small side strip on the tailgate may or may not interfere also with the damper when the gate is fully closed.

I'd probably consider a more universal solution that you can fit at your discretion without a bracket and half the cost:

“Unfortunantely we don´t sell small pieces of our product, but if you experience any problems with your product in the future, you can always contact me and we will find the best way possible to help you out!”

So if the kit works great, it might be prudent to buy a second one to put on the shelf for long term repairs.

I checked with their customer service, specifically asked about this, and they responded just now that yes, the kit works with the right side tailgate damper on USA models.

Can’t see how it would but if you get it please show us how it worked out. I did a universal kit for half the price and the results were excellent

Which universal kit did you use? Link? Some of them don’t fit well.

I used this one. Works OK and the price was were I wanted it.
Have not used in rain yet. Have to adapt some of the instructions to the 2024.
Better than the universal one Real Truck sells.

[Adventure Ranger]

I installed this kit last Friday after work on my 24' Lariat. There is a seal supposed to go on the tail gate, I glue mine to the end of the box as I have a spray in liner and that's were a bare painted edge was available. It took a bit to figure it all out, but once installing it all made sense. I have a retractable cover and it now seals up the box nicely. Drove through pouring rain on the highway and had a slight bit of water in the back lower corners of the box, but nothing else. I'll be adding a little foam tape to seal those up, then be trying it out on gravel. I want it sealed up so that it doesnt fill with dust on Gravel roads.
