Don’t have to wiggle the wheel. Just occasionally applying slight pressure on the wheel to left or right will do it. Not enough to steer it off center, but firm enough to let it know you’re there.

Turn it offYeah, I know. The problem is that is a pain in the ass. I have to wiggle the wheel constantly and sometimes I am on a road that is perfectly straight for 10's of miles. Sure is a pain in the ass.
This.I just leave my elbow propped on the door and my hand on the wheel with a little weight on it and let it fight the weight of my hand.
So in Forscan, I've found a torque setting. I wonder if this relates to the actual torque of the vehicle or, torque adjustment of the steering sensor??Ford implemented torque input as the sensor for the computer to register your hands are on the wheel. It's not very sensitive so you have to give it a bit more umph when prompted. It's annoying but that's how Ford chose to do it.
Do you remember which module that was on? Seems like I recall seeing "torque" somewhere but I wasn't really paying much attention as my battery was about to die. I need to go back in and play some more.So in Forscan, I've found a torque setting. I wonder if this relates to the actual torque of the vehicle or, torque adjustment of the steering sensor??
