Exactly why I askedMy understanding is that they are not user replaceable bulbs. The entire assembly has to be replaced at a cost of between $1,200 and $1,800. This is another reason I extended my bumper to bumper warranty out to 7 years, which includes interior and exterior lighting.
Jesus, for that price it’s only a few hundred more to replace it with a projector headlampExactly why I askedit seems that if one goes ESP 48K miles and up Flood charges a few dollars more for light protection.
Yep, I shopped around and bought a Premium Care warranty from a dealership in MI. It's crazy how the pricing for these plans varies from dealership to dealership and if you go to Ford directly, they want double the what the dealers are selling them for. The interior/exterior lighting add-on was about $40. Still the warranty out to 7 years 48k, well beyond what I'll put on the truck before I sell or trade it, was less than $1k.Exactly why I askedit seems that if one goes ESP 48K miles and up Flood charges a few dollars more for light protection.
