I have the LED taillights on my '25 XL but I also have the copilot 360.
nice. I’m waiting for morimoto or Anzo to release some led options.. but from what I’ve been told it may never happen. I reached out to both companies and they said the sales were not the great for the 5th generation so they aren’t planning to do anything for the sixth generation 😞

They may change their mind as I've read the sales for the G6 are now quite a bit ahead of the previous years.

I'll do you one better: I like the older Ranger design more, classic, steel lower bumper. That's a truck.

looks like a car. I hated the 19-23 rangers. looked like a 2020 ford escape with a pickup bed. I had a 12 escape. the 13+ was the Kuga from ROW markets rebranded.

the 24+ actually have a truck looking front end. I do agree with you on the lower steel bumper tho. I could do without the plastic bumper cover on my 25.

Couldn’t agree with you more. The previous generation rangers are UGLY. But to each their own.

we had a 2018 titanium escape in ruby red with tan interior. my wife loved it and it was a great car. we were at the ford dealer when the 5th gen rangers started showing up and i wanted to test drive one.

they only had a ruby red xlt, so we jumped in.

my wife immediately commented that it looked just like her escape. from the front door pillar forward, it was identical to her escape. same everything, even colors. that was the end of having one of those rangers. after seeing the escape from the ranger front seat, its always an escape with a bed on the back to us.

i fell Into that category 🤷🏼‍♂️ paying above 40k for a midsize pickup is insanity in my
Opinion. In 2022 I purchased a fully loaded Tacoma for 51k and it was the dumbest purchase I ever made. Buyers remorse lasted for six months and I sold it.

Only thing I miss from my loaded Maverick are the heated seats and steering wheel but moving to a '26 Ranger XLT would have cost another six+ grand more than the deal I got on the '25 XL.
XLT doesn't get heated steering anyway.

Sure I read that and even started a thread about it. And you are right should that trend continue, things will change.

I think it is kind of a mixed bag. Almost 20% Growth year over year looks good. Although Toyota has 16% and Nissan 48%

And if 20% more rangers are sold this year that still puts sales at around 85,000.

Give it two years of 20% growth

And Ranger back up to 100,000 per year and I think you get the aftermarket to start really taking notice.
