Have not seen any discussion on this so figured I would take a chance on these.

For those of us that chose the base model STX (XL) without Copilot 360, upgraded taillight options are limited. It appears that VLAND is the only manufacturer that makes LED tails that are truly "plug and play" without the headache of wiring harnesses and retrofitting higher trim model tails (XLT, Lariat, or the full LED Raptor's).

First impressions: Overall, they came nicely packaged and included two different wiring harnesses for compatibility. (I am assuming the second harness would be if you had the partial LED tails from the XLT, Lariat, or STX with Copilot 360 optioned and were for some odd reason replacing with these VLANDs...). Anything listed on Ebay or online is VLAND, they're the only manufacturer of these. Anyhow, also appears to be a 1 year warranty on these.

Install:
-Truly plug and play
-Harnesses seemed to be decent quality. Included new clips and special zip ties to attach the new harness to said clips
-Taillights are secured by 10mm x2 on each side
-You will need to remove the foam blocks that prevent rattling of the stock tail lights for these new ones to fit
-Took about 30 minutes

Quality:
-At roughly $200 shipped, I am impressed. The coloring is nearly the same as OEM, and even includes the same lettering font style for the "sensors" that do not exist
-Includes a resistor to eliminate hyperflash
-Color of LEDs and ambers all match
-Fitment is great considering the price. It is near OEM. Not perfect, but really hard to tell there is a slight gap.

Would purchase again. Changed the look of the truck for a much lower cost than trying to figure out a way to stick with OEM.

Do they offer these with the blind spot radar? I already have the basic? LED taillights on the XLT but I like these!

Not that I am aware of. Seems to be a one size fits all. I would assume the sensors would make this much more expensive if present, or would be concerned about their reliability/accuracy.

I contacted them, it seems you are supposed to remove the sensors from the tail lights you take off and put the sensors into the VLand tail lights, they have a spot for the sensor and a plug.

Good to know. Should also have mentioned in the original post that these are “Raptor style” in the sense that the entire upper and lowers light up as parking lights, the upper’s are the brake lights.
